Dear Potential Participant:
The 2009 Westbank Business Showcase – “Standing Strong, Moving Forward” will be held Sunday, November 15, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at Mardi Gras World in Algiers. We are pleased to announce Ochsner Medical Center – West Bank as our presenting sponsor. Supporting sponsorships are available. Last year’s event hosted 65 booths and attracted over 750 attendees. This is a great opportunity for local businesses, non-profits, medical facilities and schools to showcase their services and products to the Westbank and the New Orleans metro area. The Business Showcase is free to the public.
We are asking area restaurants and caterers to donate New Orleans-style refreshments, small sandwiches or other finger foods to serve approximately 300 for our 2009 event. Past donors have prepared red beans, pasta dishes, gumbo, etc.
If you would like to participate, you would receive a free booth (a $250.00 value) at the event for you to serve your donated food to the attendees. We will recognize your business through regional Times Picayune ads, program listing, radio advertising, digital media, as well as other advertising venues. Past donors discovered the Showcase was an effective advertisement for their restaurant, café or catering business. Click here for the food participant information letter.
